Erin Quirk

Erin Quirk began teaching English while doing her bachelor’s degree at Pennsylvania State University in 2000.  After finishing her degree, she continued to teach English while living in Spain, Mexico, China and several different cities in America. Before moving to Paris, she lived in New York City, where she completed her master’s degree in linguistics and worked for several years in educational publishing. She moved to Paris in 2014 and joined the Wednesday afternoon programme in fall of 2016. She’s also currently writing her Ph.D. thesis on language development in bilingual children. She loves the sense of community that SIS gives the teachers, kids and their families and hopes to bring her two girls to school there someday.
