Peter Rist was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. He has a Government and History degree from the London School of Economics, a computing degree from the ISIP (Paris) and a French CAPES. He worked as a computer analyst for six years, and for the last 20 years has been first an English literature and then a history-geography teacher. Peter joined the SIS History-Geography department of the Lycée Jean-Pierre Vernant in 2004. He produced the school yearbook for five years and currently co-runs the Harvard Model Congress Europe debating society with Cindy Plecko. Peter has written and played the guitar on 6 blues-rock cds of original music. In 2014 he published his first novel, The Quest for the Great Tuscan Boar.
