Ross Black

History and Geography Teacher, Collège Coordinator

Ross Black has been teaching History and Geography at SIS since 2004. He has classes in both the Collège and Lycée, from 6eme to Terminale. Ross graduated in 1996 from Glasgow University after having studied History. In 1997 he completed a post graduate degree in Social Anthropology and received his post-graduate Certificate in Education in 2000.  His family roots lie in Scotland, but Ross has lived outside of Scotland for most of his life. He started teaching in the UK in 2000, and left in 2002 to continue his teaching career in Turkey. A keen practitioner of yoga, Ross has begun teaching small groups of lycée students to introduce them to a healthy form of exercise.
